Welcome to 2nd Grade!!

08/20/18

Welcome,

I am so excited to meet you and your second grader on August 21st at 7:30 am on the blacktop.  Look for a stand with my name on it. If you have your supplies, please bring with you on the first day of school.  Also make sure you pack a healthy snack, lunch, and water bottle.

There will be checklist with your child's name where you can list how your child will be getting home, any allergies or medical conditions that I need to be aware of, and or any other important information that you want me to know for the first day of school.  You can also email me the information at nlwade@capousd.org.

You will also be receiving your child's first day of school packet.  It will include information that the school needs, a small packet from me, and some information about the PTA.  Please look through and complete the forms.  Your child will receive a special prize when he/she returns it.

Friday the 24th is our annual Watermelon Day.  If you would like to donate a large cut watermelon please email me!

This is going to be an amazing year.  I am so excited to meet each and every one you!  Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions or concerns!

All About Me

Hi! My name is Natalie Wade.  I am very excited to join the Coyote family.  I am truly looking forward to teaching in our hometown. My husband Doug (who also teaches for CUSD) and I have lived in Mission Viejo since 2000.  Our son Jack is 13. He will be starting 8th grade and enjoys playing baseball, soccer, and the clarinet.  Our ten- year old daughter Molly will be beginning 5th grade.  She enjoys playing soccer and volleyball.   When I am not at school or being my kids' biggest cheerleader, you might find me at the beach, paddleboarding, riding my beach cruiser, or reading a book. I have been teaching for Capistrano Unified since 2003.  I graduated Cal State Fullerton with a Psychology degree and knew that I always wanted to work with children. I truly enjoy teaching. It is so exciting these days! Watching their eyes light up when they figure out how something works brings a smile to my face.  I look forward to meeting all of you and working with you to inspire our future young minds!
